High Cotton on Lake Martin
Four bedrooms plus a loft with twin bunkbeds offer accommodations for 10 people.
Drop your cares at the door and enjoy the open floor plan with a large kitchen, dining, and living area! The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is located on the main level and has a private entrance to the porch. You’ll also find a powder room on the main level.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a loft/second living area with a set of twin bunk beds. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and there’s a full bathroom in the hallway.
Grab a cup of coffee from the Keurig and step outside where you will find a fabulous wrap-around porch with a gas grill and dining area. Lounge or nap on the couch while you take in the lake views! Need a spot to play outside, the almost flat yard offers a perfect spot to enjoy outdoor activities.
There is a private dock that is big enough to lounge and soak up more beautiful views of Lake Martin.
Centrally located in many hot spots, High Cotton is just minutes away from Harbor Pointe Marina, Bluffs Daiquiri, Chuckwalla's Pizza and Marina, and the famous Chimney Rock! Approx. 30 miles from Jordan Hare Stadium, an hour's drive from Montgomery, and a 2-hour drive from Birmingham Airport.
PLEASE NOTE: Water levels can fluctuate (even at full pool) due to the lack of rain. Big Fish is not responsible for any inconvenience this may cause. You can download the Alabama Power Shoreline app and monitor the water level from there. If we meet the requirements for the fall extension, the winter pool draw down will begin on October 15th each year. Please be aware of this if you are booking in the fall.

Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am
Exterior cameras may be in use.
This is a no-smoking property
No pets allowed
The total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed upon.
All trash and perishables must be disposed of properly and dishes washed.

Not a bad stay
We enjoyed the house itself, but there was a neighbor next door to this rental that was extremely rude. He was not only rude to us but also the renters on the other side of us. Until this situation is handled I would not rent this house again. Memorial Day 2024
The house was great. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was very well appointed. They had everything that we could have possibly needed. I would suggest using filtered water in the coffee maker. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck, but would have been nice to have stairs to exit the water. I would highly recommend this property. Our Thanksgiving at Lake Martin
We had a great time being together at High Cotton for Thanksgiving with family. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies ,games, puzzles, and summer necessities but not the best location. Didnt feel like a lake house even if the water would’ve been higher and in season. Convenient to stores, restaurants and Auburn. Pillows and mattress in downstairs master weren’t comfortable . Blissful Vacay in High Cotton
We initially booked one week at High Cotton and loved it so much that we extended our stay two additional weeks! Home is beautifully furnished and lovingly equipped with everything a renter needs.
